HT-R980 low audio
We have recently installed this receiver and have checked and rechecked everything with the manual. Whenever we try to listen to any of the components the volume has to be up to at least 49 in order to hear anything. We aren't sure if we are missing a setting or what. We have the tv plugged into the receiver by hdmi and have a blu ray & xbox also on hdmi. The wii is component.

Re: HT-R980 low audio
Hi kennemer,
It is normal for our receivers to be turned up that high in order to hear the audio if nothing was changed in the receiver. You can increase the level calibration by going into the setup => speaker setup => level cal. Or you can adjust the individual source higher by going into setup => Source setup => then intellivolume. Both of these should increase the volume enough to your satisfaction.
