I just bought the Tx-509 unit from Bose with speakers. I was told by the rep from Bose that this unit will be able to up convert the signal to HDMI. meaning that if I have a composite input, it will still output to HDMI. Can you confirm if that is true. I don't see that in the manual.

Unfortunately, up conversion only takes place in our 609 or higher models. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for contacting Onkyo via our forum.
