HT-RC180 No Sound--HELP!! Empty HT-RC180 No Sound--HELP!!

I have a HT-RC180 receiver that I purchased in March 2010. It has been very dependable until today. There was a power outage in my area that lasted for a few hours. When the power was restored, the receiver lost audio and network connection. All my components are connected via HDMI. I have checked to make sure the HDMI connections were not reset and everything was set as it was previously to the power outage. Video displays and switches fine but there is not any audio present. On the front display, the speaker setup icons do not appear. I have pulled the power cord for a couple hours and plugged it back in without success.

Any suggestions? Does it need to repaired? If it does need to be repaired, is there any special circumstances that this could be repaired "under warranty" as this problem seems to be very prevalent? What can I do? Do I need to start looking for another receiver?
