Hi, I would really appreciate help with my HT-RC180. It is barely a year and a half old and is already failing. I put in a support inquiry but did not receive a response yet.

Problem:
No sound through speakers. There are no speaker icons on the front panel display, and network has totally disappeared from setup. I hear this is a very widespread problem with the HDMI board.

What I have tried:
Power cycle
Reset to factory settings
Change HDMI cables
Change network cables

Some of the above steps worked randomly for a while, but now none really work at all.

I would appreciate help with this problem and I understand the support staff is very busy with the HDMI board issues.
