HT-RC 180 Has No Sound

Hi all,

My HT-RC 180 AVR has recently developed the problem of having no sound output to the speakers, as well as no speaker icons on the front panel. I bought the AVR on Dec. 30, 2009 at Visions Electronics at Crowfoot in Calgary, Alberta. I have reset the receiver and also re-run the Audyssey setup procedure, as in the manual's instructions. It works for only a short time before the speakers stop working and the icons disappear again.

I use the AVS forums and there are many, many users of this Onkyo AVR that are having exactly the same problems, so it appears to be an Onkyo design defect.

I have sent a message to the Onkyo Support people back on Wednesday July 4 but have received no reply. I also included my serial number for them and will include it here for your use.

Can you please help me? I paid over $800.00 for this AVR and I am very concerned over this issue and getting my unit fixed.

I'm seeing same problem and i bought for same price from Amazon in December 2009 and just hit no audio problem. Can you please let me know how do i contact support and get it service?
