TX-NR1009 Monitor Output problems (NO VIDEO)
I just got my TX-NR1009 in the mail and I cannot get a picture through my component cables. I have the red, blue, and green cables hooked up in monitor out and the input set correctly on the TV. The reason I am using component and not HDMI is beacuse our 65" does not have it and it is a temporary tv. I changed the Monitor out setting to "Both" on the reciever and I get nothing but sound from the Blue Ray player.
I then got our newer TV with an HDMI outlet out of the living room to test it and again got no video. I unplugged the RBG from the reviever and hooked up the HDMI to the HDMI main out. I then changed the Monitor setting to Main HDMI and I still got nothing but sound from the blue ray.
Am I missing something on the video set up process?

Hi Harrisjw,
How long is the HDMI cable from the back of the receiver to your new TV?
