TX-NR1009 Network issue Empty TX-NR1009 Network issue

I have the TX-NR1009 connected to my network with the wifi dongle status shows connected with a strong signal. But when i go to connect to pandora or slacker or any app i get an error connection timed out try again later none of the apps will connect. Also when i open the dlna app it will not connect to my server on the laptop but I know the server is working because the tv and the ps3 will connect to it. I also have the iphone remote app and when i open the app it does not see the receiver only lets me do demo mode but the status on the receiver shows connected to my network with a strong signal is there a problem with the receiver?
