Tx-NR1009 network issue
I have the TX-NR1009 with the wifi dongle the unit says it is connected to my network with a strong signal but I can not get any of the apps to connect pandora will not connect slacker will not connect none of them. Also the dlna will not connect to my server but I know it is working bcause my tv and ps3 will connect to the media server. I also have the iphone remote app and it will not see that the receiver is there but the receiver says that it is connected with a strong signal.

What model router do you have? Have you tried this directly connected to you modem?

The router model is a linksys cisco wrt610n and yes i tried both wired and wireless with same results.

Hi donovanbad,
Do you have the latest firmware on this router? Also have you contacted Linksys on this as they may be able to walk you through port forwarding or some other setup that will allow the TX-NR1009 to get to the rest of the network?

I will try a direct connection to the modem to check if the router is the problem if so I will contact linksys to see if they can help. Thanks for the help.

Well I am glad to report the issue is fixed. I logged into the router and manually set the mac address and the ip address of the receiver also changed some dhcp settings and everything is working like a charm. Thanks for the help I am one happy Onkyo owner.
