Hi sfalcon,
If you're asking if you change the color of the OSD then you can not as that is a design feature.

Hello there,
Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough. I did not mean to change the OSD color. When I turn the Av receiver on and it sends a signal to the TV via hdmi, the TV screen turns into a vivid blue before receiving a command from the AV receiver remote control to display any feature, setup and so on.
So, I just wondered if this blue screen could be converted into a black screen, instead. I would also like to know if this receiver has a GUI (like the Yamaha AV receivers, for example).
At last but not least, I would like to point out that this device is a very good one indeed. I owned one Pioneer and seven Yamaha (including their Aventage series), but Onkyo TX-NR5009 is, no doubt, the best one.
tks for yr help.

Hi sfalcon,
Unfortunately what you want to do can not be done at this time; maybe in either the next firmware or the next model this feature will be added.
Thank you for the great review of our products.
