TX-NR1009 amp temp
Is there a way to find out what temp the amps are at on the TX-NR1009? On another forum someone stated the you can hold the display and standby button together quickly then let go and hit the tone button on the 875 and it brings up the amp temps.

Hi 02Lightning,
We do not have that information and if any configuration from another forum is attempted you may compromise your warranty if anything were to go wrong. It is best to let our authorized service centers handle any and all fixes.
On all of our Amps the temperature is about 80 to 90 degrees above the ambient room temperature.

Nothing is wrong with the reciever, just wondering how to access amp temps. So if my living room is at 70 deg. the amps will normally run at 150 to 160 degrees? At what temp does the fans in the bottom kick on?

Hi 02Lightning,
That depends on several different factors such as volume, what's connected, whether or not you're using the zone features, the signal coming in etc...
