Temp mode and S:L
Hi There
I have a TX-NR609 Silver and are wondering over some things.
When you enter there tempmeasuring mode you get some information like this:
V:>00 F:x S:H T:048
I am interested of what these things stand for.
Seems like V:>00 stands for Volume as the numbers change at higher Volumes.
F:x seems to be Fan on (F:L) and of (F:x). Go on at 50 deegres Celsius and turns of at 45 degrees again and cycle between that.
S:H I dont know what it is but when it switches to S:L the amp is getting much cooler like 28-30 degrees. Maybe switch between high current (high signal gain) and low current (low signal gain) in amps. This parameter would be interesting to be able to set to S:L at start of the amp as it always start at S:H and it takes some time (ca 30 min) to switch to S:L . This would give a much cooler amp from start.
T:048 Stands for Temperature
I am very pleased with the TX-NR609 and it Sounds great and the picture I have in Direct mode with very sharp and good picture.
Just want to be able to run it as cool as possible and if the amp are going to switch to S:L, why dont do it from start. Or do it need some workingtemp before switching?

Hi Torgny3000,
What you described sounds like something our authorized service centers use. We would not know anything about how to change and or manipulate any of these parameters.

Re: Temp mode and S:L
