Netflix on my smart TV, no sound from my reciever?

I have my smart TV hooked up to the HDMI OUT MAIN on my TX-NR1009, how would I get sound for netflix coming from the TV?

Hi 02Lightning,

If your TV has ARC (Audio Return Channel) and if your’ TV has connection to the NET you turn the ARC function on in the TX-NR1009, simply go to setup => Hardware setup => HDMI and set the ARC to Auto. Keep in mind that it must also be set on the TV.

No sound via ARC on TX-NR1009

I just purchased a Panasonic TC-P65ST50 smart tv that supports RIHD and ARC, but I cannot get either feature to function with my TX-NR1009. I have verified all the settings with my tv and receiver, but I get no sound or HDMI control. What could be the problem? I have also tried multiple HDMI cables so I know the cable is not problem.
