TX-NR809 DLNA Question
Hello,
I have a TX-NR809 and want to know if it is possible to send audio via DLNA to DLNA speakers (Sony SA-NS500). The speakers in this scenario are the media renderers and the Onkyo would be the media server.
Essentially I want to output the audio (any source e.g. Pandora, DirecTV, etc.) from the Onkyo to the Sony speakers.
If it is not possible, is there an adapter I can buy that would accomplish this (Airplay or DLNA)?
Thanks!

Re: TX-NR809 DLNA Question
Hi elljefe,
As long as you have the devices (DLNA Certified) connected to the receiver and you have the speakers also connected to the receiver you should have no problems.

Thank you for the quick reply.
Let me try and clarify what I am asking.
The Sony speakers (SA-NS500) that I have are wireless DLNA/Airplay speakers. They can receive audio from a DLNA server (computer, phone, etc.). I am asking if the Onkyo receiver can also act as a DLNA server and send the audio to my wireless speakers via DLNA or Airplay.
Thank you.

Re: TX-NR809 DLNA Question
Hi elljefe,
Apologies, our receivers can not act as a DLNA server unfortunately.
