No video on HT-RC360
I have a Ht-RC360 bought last year connected to a Samsung 65in 3D TV. within 3 months of setup stopped output of video. Took it back to Frys. They claimed it was a firmware issue and updated it. Worked fine for 4 months. Again the video has stopped. TV is fine since I can see direct output from satellite receiver. This is really annoying. Need help. Updating firmware for new receiver was bad enough. Having to do it again so soon is just bad engg by Onkyo.

Hi smittal,
Does this happen on all inputs? Also are you attempting this in 3D or 2D mode?

Re: No video on HT-RC360
Hi smittal,
Have you tried a factory reset of the receiver? To do the reset you need to turn the receiver on, then on the front panel of the receiver press and hold the "VCR/DVR" button while doing that press the "STANDBY/ON" button. You will see the word "Clear" in the display screen and the receiver will go into standby mode. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR AUDIO & VIDEO ASSIGNMENTS ON THE RECEIVER PLUS YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR SPEAKER CONFIGURATIONS, SPEAKER DISTANCE AND ALL LEVEL CALIBRATION SETTINGS. YOU WILL ALSO LOSE ANY PROGRAMMED RADIO STATIONS IN MEMORY. Once the receiver goes into standby mode turn it back on and go thru the setup menu for all custom settings. If this does not resolve the issue then the unit will need to be further evaluated at one of our authorized service centers which can be found on our website under support.

Re: No video on HT-RC360
Reset is very time consuming since I will lose all speaker setttings etc. Do you realy think this will solve the problem? Remember it worked for a while; has gone thru a similar failure and firmware upgrade; all in less than a year.

Hi smittal,
This is the last resort before service. It is up to you whether or not you want to proceed. You only have two choices at this point unfortunately.
