ONKYO TX-NR509 HDMI BLINKIN PROBLEMS

I have TX-NR509 receiver , but when i play a movie in my blu ray player, over the hdmi, the pics on tv still blinkin (intermitent) when i put the hdmi cable direct from blu ray to tv the pic and movie play fine,,, any help will be appreciate,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks
