Okay, then I'm stupid.

Instead of the snarky reply it might actually be helpful if you posted info on what I might possibly be doing wrong to get the message I posted before.

And, although I apologized for sounded surly in an earlier message - this reply (the one that warranted MY apology) is NEVER going to be construed as Customer Service or helpful in any way...." I apologize for the forum software that Onkyo does not own and the 7 day policy they created. Please PM me with your first and last name and your phone number so that I may look into this for you."

After all - Onkyo has chosen to use this forum software.

Add me to the list, same issue. But I bought my receiver in February 2010. I am out of warranty. As this is a KNOWN hardware failure Onkyo, are you guys willing to pay for all the shipping (both to and from you to fix this), or are we, as the Customers, going to be eating the costs on this? I am sorry guys, but this is the same kind of crap that car manufacturers go through, and then they ISSUE A RECALL!

Please contact our Parts & Services Dept at the number listed below during normal business hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm EST ; or via email at parts@us.onkyo.com. They can be contacted at 201-785-2600, option # 4 for Parts & Services as they can further assist you regarding obtaining a one-time warranty and service agreement to have your receiver repaired. You will need to speak with the Parts & Services department to inquire about either having your receiver serviced since you are not under warranty or any other resolutions to provide for your issue.

You will also need to submit a copy of your sales receipt via fax (201) 934-7823 or email: parts@us.onkyo.com. Please allow 3-5 business days for further processing of your service ticket/issue and await a response via phone or email. Please contact the department if you do not receive any information after 5 business days from submitting documentation.
