SR 606 HDMI Problem

SR 606 having problems with HDMI. My PS3 will not play through HDMI, and when I first turn on the receiver in HDMI it takes about 10 minutes before a picture will show up on the TV. If TV is not in HDMI mode it will come right on. I have read that there are capacitor problems with the motherboard. Is this true, and how can I remedy?
