Cant connect to internet with 509
I have the adapter and have tried many times entering my passwork to the router but it always says connection failed. I have a Netgear WPN824 v3 that somebody set up for me but I have never had a problem with connecting anything else to it. I searched for other threads on the matter but I couldnt find anything

Hi jsepps,
Apologies for the inconvenience that you are not able to log into our UWF-1 Adapter. I have a couple of questions for you the first is the password that you are using use any capital letters and or specials characters?
And the second question is if the password does have the aforementioned capital letters or special characters are they being typed in correctly.

Ive tried it at least 20 times, Im sure Im doing it right.
I have yet to install the update, via ethernet. Does it have to be connected to the tv to do this? I only have a 5 ft cable and the tv is 20 ft away from the router

Ok I got it connected but I had to change the router settings to WEP, but I dont like that idea because of the weaker security

Hi jsepps,
Glad to hear you are connected. A couple of things though not only does the uwf-1 support the lower WEP security it also supports the higher wpa/wpa2 security too and that is changed in the in your router.
