TX-NR509 AUDIO/VIDEO ISSUES Empty TX-NR509 AUDIO/VIDEO ISSUES

Post  scraperjohn Thu Jan 05, 2012 4:17 pm

I'm having an issue when watching 3D Blue Ray discs. the audio and video will cut out intermittently. while this happens, the HDMI light on the receiver will blink.

also, i tried to attach my Wii to the receiver via component cables. no video shows up, but i get audio. one of your reps mentioned this would work over phone support.

thanks...I don't want to send this unit back.

Hi scraperjohn,
I accidentally deleted your post on our blog. I don't remember if you said that your HDMI cables were new, if you did I apologize for forgetting. When having HDMI issues the first thing we like to suggest is running through our HDMI Checklist: http://onkyousacustomersupportblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/13/the-hdmi-checklist/ Step number 3 on this checklist is a factory reset, please read our blog post about the reser carefully before performing it: http://onkyousacustomersupportblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/12/factory-reset/ Thank you for contacting Product Support via our forum.

Please try the reset to see if that corrects the component issue.
