Connecting he HT-S5500

Well, I didn't have much luck with my last post so I'll try another. I'm connecting my new HT-S5500 to an LG Smart TV. The User Guide is pretty good as far as showing how to hook up an ARC capable TV. However, my TV is NOT. And I haven't been able to locate, either in the manual or online, the proper connections for a non ARC TV. Any help in pointing me to a source would be greatly appreciated.
