CD connection
I purchased a TX 8050 and a a DX 390 CD player. Connected both with the optical cable. Now I have tried to connect an old Kenwood CD to the receiver with a RCA cord and am getting feedback. I connected through my phono jack. Should I have gone through the tape connection?

Re: CD connection
Hi sulamer22,
Phono is an amplified input for a turntable. The kenwood should go into the tape input if the DXC 390 is already using the CD input on the receiver. Thank you for contacting Product Support via our forum.
