using mr515 without video switching
Is there a way to output the TV sound through the receiver without going through all the video switching, I tried with the optical but with no luck... I currently have a remote challenged individual and onther remote causes more grief...

Re: using mr515 without video switching
You should be able to accomplish this by going from the TV's Audio output to the and open audio input on the back of the Onkyo. Just remember that once you make the connections you will have to go into the setup menu of the Onkyo under input assign and then digital audio and change the source to match the type of connection you have made ie., optical, analog or digital coax. You can also call our Product Support Team at 800-229-1687 they are here from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and also from 10am to 4pm Sat. and Sun..
