TX-NR818 is NOT switching off Zone 2 or 3

When I have Net radio playing on Zone 2 or 3 and switch he receiver off using remote, the Zone2 or 3 are NOT switched off and are playing 
. The receiver looks like switched off but it is not. I wonder how is this possible. It may be also be possible the other inputs playing via Zone have the same effect but I have not checked this.
