HT S3500 Remote stopped Empty HT S3500 Remote stopped

While learning this system the remote stopped working. Batteries ok. Tried a reset. When I hit a key the red light blinks once but nothing happens on the receiver. It will not turn off/on or work the volume either. Stumped, thanks.
