remote2 app question

Hello,

I recently got a tx-nr616 and c-7030 and I'm very happy with it! I also installed the remote2 app on my iPad and now I can control everything. Well, almost, using the remote2 app I can make the switch from radio to the cd-player but I have no control over the stop/play/forward etc. If the cd is already playing I can hear it, so switching from one source to another works just fine. But the player controls don't work, I can press the virtual buttons and they light up when pressed.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a known issue?

Correct; as the REMOTE APP 2 has functionality over CEC-devices; and while testing- it has no operability over RI connected devices. Unfortunately; the remote app will not provide remote controlability over the C-7030 unit or any unit not utilizing a USB or HDMI-CEC connection.
