use 2 Onkyo amps in same room? What about remotes?
I want to use a TX850 for a whole house audio distribution system, and a HTRC160 for a home theater. I have a rack in the theater room, and placed both units in that rack. They are separate and unrelated systems, however the remotes for either run the 2 boxes simultaneously. Turn the TV audio volume up, the whole house volume goes up?
So I've got the IR sensor on the TX850 taped over.
Is there a way to use these units in the same room with remotes?

Hi mhaze,
You can change the remote ID on the HT-RC160. Please see page 78 of the manual.
