I have bought two recievers and they came with two different remotes. Are they both programable for other devices?

Hi cyanamid,

It depends on what you mean by "programmable for other devices"? They both are capable of pre-programmed codes but the 807M is the only one able to learn from another device.

Thank you for replying, yes I would like to have one remote to turn on samsung tv, dish etc. what is funny the 803 came with the 670 and the other came with 370?

no I have not I just set it up and notice the different remotes and they both operate the units I want the best remote in the living to control all of the other things
