HT-R580 HDMI channels keep failing (3 out of 4 are dead)

I bought this on clearance from the local AAFES exchange (I am in the military) and in 100 or so days that I have been using it I have seen three of the HDMI channels completely stop functioning. There was no detecable power surge, no weather related reason for the problems and if I move my source devices direct to the TV they all work fine, so I have confirmed the receiver to be the problem. Is there a firmware update or some sort of reset I might be able to try that would bring these ports back to life? I have been a long time Onkyo user (and fan) but this is a very frustrating problem that I would like to see resolved if possible.
