TXNR-809 HDMI inputs not working

Hi there

I purchased an Onkyo TX-NR809 earlier this year. It has been functioning fine so far.

However, several of the HDMI in's on the back have suddenly stopped working. Neither video nor audio works through the HDMI 1-5 inputs on the back.
All inputs are assigned to the correct HDMI input so that is not the problem.
For these inputs the HDMI symbol does not show at all on the display when starting up, it goes straught to the analog symbol.

The receiver still outputs through the main out HDMI as I can still see the OSD etc. on the display connected.

HDMI inputs 6, 7 and the HDMI on the front still work fine with all sources which is odd.

I have tried resetting the receiver and also tried unplugging it for several minutes. Neither worked.

Can anyone suggest anything else to try?
Or should I send it back it for repair?

If you've already reset the receiver and reassigned the inputs and it still does not work then I suggest a service center. Authorized service centers can be found on our main page under support.
