Audio drop out on TX-NR709

Hi-

I'm posting about an issue I have with my TX-NR709.

My set up is:
Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR709 (with current firmware) - set up as 7.1 and no Zone 2
TV: Samsung LN46A550
BluRay: Oppo BDP93 with external USB Western Digital Drive (with current firmware)

The issue:
When watching DVDs, Blu-Rays, or video files (MP4 or MKV) via the Oppo 93, the audio will drop out for a few seconds and the come back. When this happens, the video displays normally and the display on the TX-NR709 will go from listing the input (BD/DVD) and sound mode to just the input and then back to the input and sound mode when the sound returns. This happens with almost everything I watch, though only once and usually within the first 5-10 minutes of beginning playback of the disc/video. My sound modes are usually (Dolby Digital -> DD PLIIX -> THX Cinema) or (Dolby Digital -> DD PLIIX -> TV Logic)

I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and/or if anyone has any suggestions.

I have high speed HDMI running from the Oppo 93 to the Onkyo to the TV.
