TX-NR609 1080p Issues
I have a TX-NR609 and am not able to display at 1080p resolution from my computer. I called Onkyo support a few days ago and the technician said I need to have a HDCP compliant video card. I went and purchased one and no change. I can hook the computer up to my TV and it will display at 1080p, I can also hook the computer to my projector (bypassing the receiver) and it will display at 1080p. It does not make any sense. I have tried all the different HDMI ports on the back and a factory reset. My PS3 and XBOX360 display fine at 1080p, for some reason my computer will only display at 720p when using the receiver.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: TX-NR609 1080p Issues
Looks like the issue is with the EDID the receiver is outputting. I am able to use the computer at 1080p running Windows. I can not do this running Linux. Hopefully Onkyo will have a fix for this.

Re: TX-NR609 1080p Issues
Hi croll12,
It could very well be an EDID issue but keep in mind that if other devices run at 1080p going through our receiver then there really isn't much we can do.
