Roxio disc playback - no title select

DV-CP706 six disc: Used Roxio DVD-Video produced DVD's for years. This player opens menu, highlights, will not select title. Will play disc from begin, then will advance through titles. Will select using Search function. Never had this problem before on any other players.

Do any other store purchased or rented DVD play correctly on this unit?

Factory DVD's play fine. Further tests show DVD produced with old Roxio software 6 years ago work ok. DVD produced with Nero ok. Not sure, but I believe all these older discs have either AVI or MPEG files on them, problem new Roxios have WMV from Movie Maker.

Spoke too soon. Nero disc that plays is all WMV, although from Windows XP. Apparently player does not like something about new Roxio.

Seems the software is not compatible then. If store bought DVD's work fine then it is with that software.
