Hi
I'd like to use the NR509 as a preamp with another receiver as the amp/power source. Can someone please provide detailed instructions? (I'm a newbie).

Hi Evan,
Unfortunately, this can't be done because this receiver doesn't have the pre outs to make the unit act as a preamp. Thank you for contacting product support!
