help with hdmi pass through setup on tx sr608

when the receiver is turned off if it is not set to the correct input it will not pass the hdmi thru. Thanks

I will need a little more information on your setup such as what you are trying to get to pass-thru the Onkyo and how it is connected?

Thanks for the response. I'm trying to pass through a roku player which I have connected with hdmi to vcr/dvr input.If the receiver is not in the vcr/dvr mode when it is put in standby mode the signal will not pass through, same for my cable set top box which is connected with hdmi to cable/sat input. I'm thinking that the hdmi inputs should be able to pass through no matter what the input selection is when receiver is in standby mode.

Unfortunately on that model it will do that. On our new models that have this ability it has the units will automatically sense the input and change it accordingly.
