Limit volume spikes
I have a TX-SR607. I have a problem that certain parts of movies, TV commercials, etc. will be louder than what I had the volume set. So when they come on the screen, the volume shoots way up. I have looked all thru the manual & I'm unable to find a way to limit the volume (sort of like a limiter does for sound systems to keep from blowing speakers).
I may have missed something in the manual. I also don't understand some of the information or some of the functions that are listed in the manual.
Has anyone figured out a way to keep the volume in control?

Re: Limit volume spikes
Hi Phuztone,
Have you run the Audyssey automatic speaker setup? The receiver has Dynamic Volume when the Audyssey is ran which eliminates this issue for you. To learn more please go to page 46 in the manual and review the information. If you are still having any issues please contact our support team at 1-800-229-1687 option number 3.
