I have some concerns about the longevity of my HDMI ports. Can I remove the screw above the ports and use port saver attachments?Port savers on the 709 receiver Ref=dp_otherviews_z_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&img=1

Hi Geo,

It is not advised to remove any parts on the unit as it could void your warranty.
