RC360 loosing the settings after truning the system off.
recently bought this receiver, i have done the setup using the quick audessy mic and everything worked fine but when ever i turn the system off and turn it on the sound doesn't seem right but once i do the audessy mic setup again then i start hearing the sound much better. looks like i am loosing the settings once i turn the system off. i used to own RC160 and never had this problem. is there a fix for this or i have got a lemon?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi srimal,
After performing Audyssey do you save the settings?

Yes i did save them. i have done some more testing, and looks like there is no change in the settings per say after the reboot but the sound doesn't seem right. then again i have to do the audessy setup and i hear the sound much better. this is very annoying. is there a firmware update for this.

Hi srimal,
Please try to do the full Audyssey setup and not just the quick start. After that see if the settings stay saved.

Please try doing a factory reset. Before doing so please read our blog post on the subject. It will give you all the information you need to know before doing the reset. It also has instructions on how to perform the reset : http://onkyousacustomersupportblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/12/factory-reset/

Hi srimal, srimal wrote:every time i do the audyssey setup i always do the factory reset.
I am a little confused by this statement. You perform a factory reset after completing Audyssey? The factory reset restores your receiver to default factory settings which means Audyssey is no longer saved. After performing the reset you must redo Audyssey and then save the new Audyssey settings. After that Audyssey should work just fine. Thanks!

sorry what i meant is i used to do factory reset to make sure i clear all the settings and then do the Audyseey setup.

Re: RC360 loosing the settings after truning the system off.
Hi srimal,
Since the reset does not seem to correct the issue. I will ask you to try one more thing. Please make sure that your speakers are connected properly. Also check to make sure there is not a problem with one of the speaker wires. You can test the speakers with different wires. If you do not want to do that or if the sound difference is really bothering you, you can send it in to be serviced. Please call the service center a head of time and talk to them about your issue before sending it in. Please view our blog post on locating an authorized service center. http://onkyousacustomersupportblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/13/locating-an-authorized-service-center-or-dealer/

Re: RC360 loosing the settings after truning the system off.
after a lot of tweaking, i have changed the speaker settings to full-band and then it started sounding awesome and retains it even after i reboot the receiver. fyi... i have JBL CS6100 speaker set and each speaker has dual 3.5'' driver and can handle full-band pretty well.
thanks for the prompt responses.
