OK after I updated my onkyo tx-nr807 it will no longer even turn on there isn't even the red standby light anymore...anyone have any suggestions? I have tried the usual unplug and all that still nothing like it has zero power.

I'm not being flippant here and I'm hopeing it is just a simple oversite.

Have you depressed on the avr itself, the main power button? The remote won't start it up unless it is already in standby and a download usually requires a total cold start.

Really hope that is all there is to it.
