TX-NR609 Setup Question

Hi, I have a setup question that hopefully someone can answer for me. Here is a semi-diagram of my setup:

HTPC --> (hdmi) --> Onkyo TX-NR609 (Set to PC Input) --> (hdmi) --> TV (Vizio E601I-A3) --> (optical) --> Onkyo TX-NR609


Now, if i use an App on the Vizio (I.e.Amazon Video), i have to tell the onkyo to listen on optical 1. If i wanna watch TV via HTPC with CableCard, i have to tell it to listen to the HDMI audio. Is there any way or setting that i can use so i dont have to switch every time?

It seems that since your TV doesn't support ARC (Audio Return Channel); you are using the optical cable into which optical port- 1 (GAME) or 2 (TV/CD)?
