Question about connections of Ipod through receiver to TV

Hi,
I have an Onkyo TX-NR 808 receiver and want to be able to view the album graphics from my Ipod Classic on my tv. My tv is an older component video only 720i and has no hdmi. Will the album graphics display if I connect the tv component inputs through my receiver and connect my ipod to the front usb?

Unfortunately; USB connection to the receiver doesn't support video or metadata transfer to allow the album art or information to appear on the TV screen while the unit is currently in EXTENDED MODE. Album art and metadata is supported via use of the DS-A4 ipod dock or Apple A/V cables.
