TX-NR809 Static Type Noise Empty TX-NR809 Static Type Noise

I have a TX-NR809 and get a static/popping type noise from all my speakers very frequently. When any loud noise occurs in say a movie, the static presents itself. It does not matter what volume I have the receiver at. I have tried new cables, resetting the unit to factory settings, and checked my speakers to make sure they were not blown. Does anyone have any ideas? I have run the serial number to make sure it is not part of the recall and it appears it is not. I am thinking there is something else wrong with the unit. All my connections are made using HDMI cables and 14 gauge speaker wire. I am running Definitive Tech Speakers rated at 200 watts for surround and 250 watts for center. The speakers can easily handle the power. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Got my receiver back from being repaired. Have the same issue with static type noise and I also get and HDMI error code on start up. Any suggestions?
