TV static problem help please!

I am very pleased with the sound from the Onkyo TX-NR509 5.1! But I am having a TV static problem.
I am using HDMI, connecting my to my TV HDMI 'IN' to the Onkyo HDMI 'OUT' port. after 2 or 5 minutes the TV will display all static fuzz, the receiver still plays the TV audio. My PS3 is running through the receiver also but never has this problem. Has anyone witness this happening.

When having HDMI issues we first like to have the customer run through our HDMI Checklist.
