I'm getting upset that I bought a new phone to work with my receiver and its not working right... anyone having issues with the new Remote 2 app and their receivers? I tried calling support and they said they are looing into it and they dont have a phone yet to test it.. but I can't wait forever for them- so I may be returning my unit for a non-Onkyo receiver..

I also noticed an issue with a friends iPhone 5 as well; thought it was an issue with just my phone.. I am also noticing some issues with my iPad running iOS 6 and my wive's Toshiba Excite 10 tablet.. What's going on here guys?

We are currently researching these issues with the iPhone 5 and any compability issues and will advise promptly.

Yes- app doesn't work that well- and connecting to the receiver is a pain in the @ss.. it barely connects or charges. And many times the remote app doesn't connect or is stuck and shut downs.. please tell me there's some update in the works?

What iPod connection are you using from the phone onto the receiver? Are you using the 30-pin USB cable or the LIGHTNING cable onto the receiver?
