TX-NR609 HDMI Issues and absolutely no customer service...

So.. I purchased my TX-NR609 in December 2011 meaning it is still under warranty to be repaired. My HDMI board appears to be toast since I now have intermittent HDMI video through the receiver. Little did I know this seems to be a common problem with Onkyo.

I contacted Onkyo yesterday since they advertised their 1-800 number was open 24/7. I got hung up on five times without being able to talk to anyone. I sent them an email 24 hours ago requesting a phone call with no response. I call today over an hour ago and put myself in the "callback" queue. I'm assured of a phone call as soon as I reach my spot in the queue - but as of yet no call back.

I call the local "authorized" service center today instead just to drop it off. I was politely informed that my repair would take a MINIMUM of four weeks but likely up to six weeks to repair the issue.

Is this the type of customer service that I can continue to expect from Onkyo?
