Setting Up Zone 2

Hello, I have a TX-SR605 AV Receiver with 7.1 Surround Sound system. I want to maintain the 7.1 and set up a Zone 2 system. I'm not sure how to set up Zone 2. Do I need to purchase an amplifier? If so, any recommendations? Thanks.

Unfortunately, when zone 2 is activated and in use the surround back speakers do not output sound making it a 5.1. When zone 2 is activated, but not in use the surround back speakers will output sound keeping it a 7.1. Thank you for choosing Onkyo.

I guess I was not clear in what I'm asking. I want to purchase an amplifer to enable Zone 2 without using any speakers in my 7.1 setup. I have a couple extra speakers for zone 2, but just want to make sure I set it up correctly. The manual is not very clear on what to do, which is why I'm asking for some guidance. Thanks!
