SR 707 | No Audio Empty SR 707 | No Audio

Hi, I have an SR 707 Receiver and yesterday i turned on my unit and it is not producing any audio. I have checked all connections and troubleshot per the manual to no avail.

I performed a clear on the receiver by hitting DVD + Standby/On and managed to get the audio back to functioning normally; unfortunately this was a temporary fix as next time i powered everything off and started again, this remedy did not work.

I purchased the receiver in Fall 2009 and i've never had an issue with it.

Please help!

Hi Child Please,
It seems like you have really tried to troubleshoot the situation. Doing a factory reset is always a last resort for us and if that does not correct the issue then we recommend sending the unit in for service. Since you purchased the unit in the fall of 2009 it may no longer in under warranty. Please contact our parts and service department to see if they can assist you with a repair: (201) 785-2600, option 4.

Thank you for the quick reply. As per your instructions I have reached out to the parts/ service department--they asked that i send an email with my contact information and serial # so they can help with warranty service. I emailed them on Nov 30 with the requested information and followed up again last Wednesday however have not heard back.

How do i go about expediting this as I want to have my unit fixed as soon as possible.

Please advise--thanks.

Please help--i'm bordering 3 weeks with no response. I was promised a response in 3-5 days after submission of my email and this is starting to get frustrating. It was my intent to have my receiver fixed for the holidays and its obvious that isn't going to happen at this point. Please advise--
