TX-NR609 centre channel

I don't have a centre channel speaker. How do I get the centre channel to play through the TV speakers? I didn't see anything in the instruction manual about the directing centre channel sound to the TV speakers. Can this be done?

I didn't think so, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Any reason why not? It shouldn't be to difficult to implement, the signal can be passed to the TV via the HDMI cable. One would think the feature could be added via software and downloaded and installed via a firmware upgrade. It would save on the need to purchase a speaker and then find a place to put it.

Any chance in suggesting this to someone?
