Sound can only be heard thru Zone 2 - NR609

I've had my Onkyo NR-609 for three months. Everthing has been working fine til this morning. I attempted to listen to my ipod which is docked on a JBL portable speaker which is connected to my PC input on the NR609. While manually selecting Zone 2 and selecting PC source (i labeled IPOD), the receiver powered off. When I powered the receiver back on, i can hear the music thru the ipod via zone 2. However, I selected other sources ie satelite, radio, dvd, there is no sound from my surround speakers. Now I can only hear the Zone 2 speakers which does not produce sound for any of my other components. Help - Superbowl is hours away & I had a party planned.

Never mind. I unplugged the receiver powered off surge protector. Waited one hour, powered up surge, receiver & WOW - I got sound. The manual actually works.
