Tx NR3010 - No Zone 2 or 3 Audio

I have been working at this for about 4 hours. The Zone 2 and 3 icons will light, but NO sound will come from Zone 2 or 3. I have been through the manual and have all setups in place. I suspect this is really a firmware issue. Does anyone else have multizone capability from this unit (or even from the 5010?). I am only in 5.1 mode for my mains. 'B' speakers are set to 'No'. I have tried from many sources - all stereo.

I have a 5010. First, you will only get sound from zone 3 from an analog source. You can only get output on 3 if you turn on zone 2 and 3 from your speaker menu. You have to connect an RCA cable from a unit to get 3 to work. example is audio out from DVD to DVD in on receiver. I am using front wide and I have to use zone 3. I think you can use HDMI for zone 2 if you are not using front hi configuration.
