NR 414 can not play FLAC via DLNA with FW 1110-7001-0000

Is there a reason for this?
I am using Plex on Win7.

Has anybody been successful at streaming FLAC via DLNA?

Found my answer in the users manual:

• With remote playback, the AV receiver does not support the following music file formats: FLAC and Ogg Vorbis.

In other words: the DLNA server should be able to perform transcoding on the fly to a different format (LPCM?). But either the receiver requests the file to be played directly and then it fails, either the Plex server doesn't do any transcoding. I will have to investigate how can I control the transcoding on the DLNA server.

I conclusion - if you are an audiophile and have your music in FLAC format, you will need to have all the files stored on a harddrive and connect it to the receiver via USB.
